A New Milestone in PTSC M&C’s Journey to Conquer the Global Offshore Wind Market
Ho Chi Minh City, October 2025 — PTSC M&C, together with consortium partner Semco Maritime, hosted a ceremony marking the completion of structural and painting works for OSS-01 and OSS-02, as well as the installation of the first transformer under the Baltica 2 Offshore Wind Farm Project (developed by Ørsted and PGE).
The celebration marked another proud milestone in PTSC M&C’s journey to expand Vietnam’s footprint in the global offshore wind supply chain. Since the project’s groundbreaking in November 2024, the Semco Maritime – PTSC M&C Consortium has achieved remarkable progress — completing 55% of the total work volume, achieving over 3.3 million safe man-hours, and successfully delivering major fabrication and painting packages on schedule and to world-class quality standards.

The ceremony brought together representatives from Ørsted, Semco Maritime, and PTSC M&C — all sharing pride in the project’s success and collaborative spirit.
“This achievement reflects the strength of our partnership among Ørsted & PGE, Semco Maritime, and PTSC M&C — turning designs into offshore assets built to the highest standards,” said Mr. Keith Tayler, Board Member of Semco Maritime.
Representing the Employer, Mr. Ulrik Lange, Project Managing Director of Ørsted, highlighted the significance of teamwork and shared commitment:
“We are building great things together. These topsides will soon be the heart of our Baltica 2 Offshore Wind Farm — symbolizing our joint success and Vietnam’s contribution to Poland’s green energy future, providing clean, domestic power and enhancing energy security for 2.5 million households.”

Concluding the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Bao Hoang, Deputy Director of PTSC M&C and Project Director of Baltica 2, emphasized that this achievement reflects not only technical excellence but also the power of unity, discipline, and dedication — the signature ‘One Team’ spirit of PTSC M&C.
“With determination and teamwork, PTSC M&C and our partners will continue to uphold Safety, Quality, and Schedule — bringing the Baltica 2 Project to successful completion and reinforcing Vietnam’s standing in the global offshore renewable energy industry.”

The event stood as a celebration of collective effort, human spirit, and the pride of Vietnamese engineers reaching new horizons in the world of offshore wind.
