A New Milestone in PTSC M&C’s Journey to Conquer the Global Offshore Wind Market
Ho Chi Minh City, October 2025 — PTSC M&C, together with consortium partner Semco Maritime, hosted a ceremony marking the completion of structural for OSS-01 and OSS-02, as well as the installation of the first transformer under the Baltica 2 Offshore Wind Farm Project (developed by Ørsted and PGE).

The Ceremony for the Structural Completion of OSS 01 & 02 and the Commencement of Transformers Installation at PTSC M&C’s Fabrication Yard.
The celebration marked another proud milestone in PTSC M&C’s journey to expand into the global renewable-energy market. Since the project’s groundbreaking in November 2024, the Semco Maritime – PTSC M&C Consortium has achieved remarkable progress — completing 55% of the total work volume, achieving over 3.3 million LTI-free safe man-hours, completion of structural and coating works for the first two offshore substations (OSS) in an enclosed habitat with relative humidity maintained below 50%; and handover of 25 out of 34 rooms across the two OSS for equipment installation.
The ceremony brought together representatives from Ørsted & PGE, Semco Maritime, and PTSC M&C — all sharing pride in the project’s success and collaborative spirit.
“Today’s achievement is the result of close collaboration among Ørsted & PGE, Semco Maritime, and PTSC M&C—the teams that have worked tirelessly to turn drawings into world-class offshore installations. Despite ongoing challenges—especially the parallel commissioning of four OSS units—we remain fully committed to mobilizing our strongest resources to deliver Baltica 2 safely, quality, and on schedule,” said Mr. Keith Tayler, Representative of the SEMCO–PTSC M&C Consortium.
