Cuu Long Joint Operating Company (CLJOC) officially issued the Letter of Award (LOA) to PTSC M&C for the EPCI contract for the Su Tu Trang Project – Phase 2B. This project is situated in Block 15-1, offshore Vietnam's continental shelf.
The LOA for the Su Tu Trang Project – Phase 2B marks a new milestone in the enduring and strategic partnership between CLJOC and PTSC M&C. This is the latest project within the Su Tu field cluster (Block 15-1) that CLJOC has entrusted to PTSC M&C, building upon the remarkable success of previous projects such as Su Tu Den, Su Tu Nau, Su Tu Trang LTPTP, Su Tu Vang Tay Nam, and Su Tu Trang – Phase 1.
The Su Tu Trang Project – Phase 2B holds pivotal significance in ensuring a stable gas supply to the Southeast region, particularly amidst declining production from existing fields. The project's scope of work encompasses the comprehensive design, procurement, fabrication, transportation, installation, hook-up, and commissioning of a Central Processing Platform (CPP), featuring a topside module exceeding 6,500 tons and a jacket (substructure) weighing approximately 5,000 tons.
The awarding of the Su Tu Trang Project – Phase 2B contract once again affirms PTSC M&C's exceptional capabilities as a leading EPCI contractor for complex and technically demanding oil and gas facilities. This not only serves as a testament to CLJOC's confidence but also represents a crucial milestone, solidifying PTSC M&C's pioneering position within the domestic oil and gas industry.
