FORMOSA 4 PROJECT ACHIEVES 1 MILLION SAFE WORK HOURS WITHOUT LTI

Formosa 4 is a 495 MW offshore wind project developed by SRE off the coast of Taiwan. Under the EPC contract, the Semco Maritime–PTSC M&C consortium is delivering the offshore substation, including its jacket and topside. The milestone was reached while the project is progressing through engineering, procurement and fabrication activities.

Reaching one million safe work hours without LTI is the result of consistent attention to safe working practices across the project. Safety requirements are integrated into daily execution through toolbox talks, task risk assessment, worksite inspections, training and safety communication, together with proactive identification and control of hazards before work starts.

The achievement also demonstrates the shared HSE commitment of SRE and the Semco Maritime–PTSC M&C consortium. Close coordination among the project teams, supervisors, engineers and workforce has supported a working environment in which safety remains a core requirement alongside quality and schedule.

Formosa 4 Project workers are recognized for their contribution to maintaining a safe working environment and helping the Project achieve the milestone of 1 million safe work hours.​​​​​​​

As the Formosa 4 Project moves into the next stages of execution, all parties will continue to strengthen hazard identification, risk control and workforce engagement. The project team remains focused on maintaining safe performance and ensuring that every person returns home safely at the end of each working day.
