The Legal Counsel is responsible for drafting and reviewing commercial / offshore construction contracts under the guidance of Senior Counsels. In addition, the person in this position supports the maintenance of our commercial / legal policies and procedures and assures consistent application of standard legal procedure and database. The Legal Counsel provides advice and counsel on various commercial / offshore construction contracts, legal issues and acceptable business compromises.

You will have the opportunity to:
Drafting documents such as (but not limited to) offshore construction contract, purchase agreements, confidentiality agreements, business cooperation and alliance agreements.
Drafting and maintaining commercial / legal policies and procedures.
Advising the business on regulatory, commercial, contract and alliance matters.
Supporting on disputes resolution and litigation where appropriate
Generally applying combined business and legal judgment to proposed deals, relationships and other issues requiring legal or compliance attention.
Supporting Counsels and management in the acquisition, bidding and alliance process to meet business objectives
Performing or working with Counsels to perform legal-business analysis where appropriate
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor of Law (or equivalent).
Legal experience at a large law firm/consultancy or corporate legal department, including but not limited to drafting, and working on complex business transactions (i.e. purchase, sale and distribution agreements).
Experience identifying legal issues quickly and making on the spot risk calls or escalating as appropriate.
Able to prioritize conflicting demands from multiple business clients in an extremely fast-paced, pressured environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills (both English and Vietnamese language); able to interface effectively at all levels of the organization.
