On August 16th, in Vũng Tàu City, the Trade Union and Youth Union of the Vietnam Petroleum Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) collaborated to honor 190 outstanding students for the 2023-2024 academic year, who are the children of the company's employees. This marks a significant and memorable 10-year journey for PTSC in organizing this commendation ceremony for outstanding students.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Trần Ngọc Chương, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and member of PTSC's Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyễn Trần Toàn, Deputy General Director and Chairman of the Trade Union; along with other representatives from the Party Committee, PTSC's Management Board, Board of Directors members, representatives of the Veterans Association, Trade Union, Youth Union, various functional departments, and PTSC's subsidiaries. The event saw the participation of 164 students representing the 204 outstanding students of the 2023-2024 academic year, who are children of PTSC employees.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyễn Trần Toàn praised and congratulated the academic achievements of the employees' children. He highlighted that over the past 10 years, both the quantity and quality of high-achieving students have significantly increased, from 33 students in the first year to 204 in this 10th edition. This growth reflects the dedication and attention of PTSC's leadership, the collaborative efforts of the Trade Union and the company’s units, the care of parents, and the students' own determination and perseverance.

"This is just the beginning; the road ahead is still long. I believe that you will continue to push yourselves every day to become the best versions of yourselves, helping you navigate the future journeys that lie ahead," said Mr. Nguyễn Trần Toàn. He also encouraged the Trade Union and Youth Union to maintain such programs to motivate parents to focus on their work and help students grow into contributors to the nation. He expressed hope that the students would continue their efforts, maintaining PTSC's proud tradition.

During the ceremony, the students reported their academic achievements, shared experiences with peers, and expressed deep gratitude to PTSC's leadership for their support and motivation. Representing the honored students, Đặng Quốc Trung, a 12th grader who won third place in the National Informatics Competition (and who has been an outstanding student for six consecutive years), expressed his thanks for the care and guidance of parents, teachers, and PTSC's leadership.

The event also included performances and skills showcases by the students, as well as the presentation of regional specialty gifts from their hometowns to PTSC's leadership. These gifts not only represented regional specialties but also symbolized the connection between regions and units within the entire PTSC organization.
As part of this year’s event, the students visited PTSC’s port, participated in a colorful gala with vibrant performances, and learned about PTSC's new ventures in sustainable offshore renewable energy through a video titled “PTSC - The First Offshore Wind Foundations.” This journey, marking 10 years of PTSC’s commendation ceremony for outstanding students, will remain a special and memorable experience filled with joy and happiness for the PTSC leadership, parents, and students alike. It reaffirms PTSC's commitment to supporting the future generation and reflects the company's dedication to sharing responsibility and fostering creativity, ensuring sustainable development alongside its workforce.
