The competition on the history, development, and traditions of PTSC M&C

To enhance the efforts in promoting, educating about the company's traditions, and instilling pride in each employee, the Trade Union and Youth Union of the PTSC M&C organized a competition on the history, development, and traditions of PTSC M&C. The competition was held from May 10, 2024, to May 14, 2024, on an online platform, open to all trade union members, youth union members, and employees working at the company.

The competition was an opportunity for every employee to reflect on and take pride in the company's history, its development, the challenges and successes over the 23 years since its establishment. It also provided a chance for younger employees and newcomers to gain a deeper understanding of the workplace they are part of and to integrate quickly into the corporate culture of PTSC in general and PTSC M&C in particular. Through questions about the company's formation, key projects that were vital to its development, significant milestones and achievements, leadership over the years, and the distinctive cultural aspects of PTSC M&C, employees were taken on a journey through the company’s rich history, filled with memories and pride in being part of PTSC M&C.

Over the five days, the competition attracted the participation of over 1,000 employees, with a very high number of correct answers to all 23 questions, marking the significant success of the promotional and educational efforts. On the afternoon of May 15, 2024, in a joyful atmosphere celebrating the 23rd anniversary of the company’s founding, the organizers held a grand award ceremony and gathering for employees who achieved outstanding results in the competition. The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Nguyễn Thị Bình, Chief of the Party Committee Office; Mr. Trần Minh Mạnh, Deputy Director of the company; Mr. Phạm Văn Chuân, Chairman of the Company’s Trade Union and Head of the Competition Organizing Committee, along with representatives from the company’s Youth Union, Veterans’ Association, and department leaders.

Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, Mr. Phạm Văn Chuân emphasized the purpose and significance of the competition and expressed delight at the impressive results achieved, particularly congratulating the prize-winning employees. He called on all employees to continue working together with pride in the company’s proud history, overcoming challenges to achieve even greater successes with the company’s leadership in the future. Agreeing with this sentiment, Mr. Trần Minh Mạnh praised the outstanding individuals and directed that similar activities be maintained to further enhance the effectiveness of the educational efforts, aiming to build a unified collective from the company’s leadership to every employee. The organizers then presented flowers and awards to the winners: 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 6 consolation prizes.

On behalf of the employees, Mr. Huỳnh Anh Thân, a supervisor in machinery installation and piping at Steel Structure Workshop 1, who won the first prize, shared his personal reflections on the competition. Through the competition, he expressed deep pride in being an employee of PTSC M&C. As one of the company’s earliest employees, he deeply appreciates the company’s historical moments and holds great affection for it. He extended his gratitude to the company’s leadership and the organizing committee for providing such a meaningful and practical event.

At the same ceremony, the organizing committee held a meeting to evaluate the competition's effectiveness, draw lessons, identify areas for improvement, and consider feedback from the company’s management, the Youth Union, the departmental trade unions, and employees for adjustments and improvements in future events.
