On March 17, 2024, the PTSC Marine Mechanical Service Youth Union (PTSC M&C) organized a bicycle race to welcome Spring 2024 with the theme “PTSC M&C Youth Joining Hands to Protect the Environment of Vung Tau City – Green – Clean – Beautiful.”
In response to the call from Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and PTSC to participate in activities supporting World Water Day, World Meteorological Day, and Earth Hour 2024, aimed at promoting a Green – Clean – Beautiful living environment, many PTSC M&C youth members actively participated in the bicycle race to raise awareness about environmental protection in Vung Tau City.
The TNGO green bicycles were chosen to attract the attention of local residents and visitors, while also providing the youth with an opportunity to experience a new, convenient, and environmentally friendly mode of transportation. The race routes created a positive impact, drawing interest from many residents and tourists.
Participants showed enthusiasm for using these bicycles and many are considering using them for commuting. This choice not only boosts personal health but also contributes to keeping the environment clean. The city has placed TNGO bike stations along various routes, and having a station right in front of the company makes bicycle use very convenient.
This event was not only a practical activity to celebrate Youth Month 2024 but also a platform for young people to spread a vibrant and enthusiastic spirit during their special month. It further strengthened unity and commitment to work effectively, contributing to the continued growth and development of PTSC M&C.
