On 14 January 2015, PTSC M&C in coordination with Hoang Long JOC hosted the contract signing ceremony for the TGT-H5 Wellhead Platform and Pipelines Project.

H5 Project is one of the strategic development schemes of Hoang Long JOC in block 16-1 offshore Vietnam. Being entrusted by Hoang Long JOC, PTSC M&C once again has the honor to be the EPCI contractor of the Project providing detailed engineering, procurement, construction, transportation and installation, hook-up and commissioning services for a 4,000 ton wellhead platform and drilling wellbay module and 24 km pipelines.
On 18 March 2014, Hoang Long JOC issued the first Letter of Intent granting approval of PTSC M&C carrying out Construction Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Transportation, and Installation works of the H5 Project. The second Letter of Intent requesting PTSC M&C to proceed EPCI work of the H5 topsides and pipelines was effective on 16 May 2014. And having understood that this is a very fast track project with extremely tight schedule, PTSC M&C has promptly mobilized its qualified personnel and resources to execute the Project.
Delivering his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Dong Xuan Thang – PTSC M&C’s Director highlighted that “the contract signing ceremony held at this moment is a reminder to all of us of the difficulties, challenges in the remaining time of the project that we, all together, have to overcome to safeguard the final success. With PTSC M&C’s experience, the support from Hoang Long JOC and commitment from main subcontractors, I am confident that we will complete the H5 project successfully”.
Project milestone highlights:
On 1st September 2014, offshore installation of the H5 jacket and drilling wellbay module was successfully completed achieving more than 550,000 man-hours without any LTIs. In the meantime, topsides and pipelines package has been well-progressed and recently achieved more than 44.34% of overall progress, which is 2.36% ahead of schedule. Tentatively, the topsides will be handed over to Hoang Long JOC in August 2015.
