PTSC M&C CONTINUE PUSHING BD & BIDDING WORKS

(5/4/2016)

First to mention, PTSC M&C formed the Consortium with Sapura Kencana HL (Malaysia) to head for Neelam Development Project of ONGC in India. After the success of Heera Redevelopment Project – the first project of PTSC M&C for ONGC, India continues to be one of PTSC M&C’s top focused markets in its global business map. By participating in the Neelam tender, PTSC M&C once again demonstrates its determination and efforts to penetrate into Indian market, which is considered tough place for foreign contractors and intensive competition. The Neelam EPCIC project comprises of one (01) processing platform and link bridge, two (02) well head platforms, subsea pipeline and modifications on existing platforms. The bid award is expected to be declared in March 2016.

Meanwhile, PTSC M&C is also qualified and participated bidding for the Zawtika Development Project (Phase 1C) for PTTEP International in Myanmar. The Zawtika Phase 1C includes the engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation, installation and commissioning for 04 unmanned platforms (02 firmed and 02 optional), subsea pipeline and brownfield modifications. This is considered the most remarkable tender in Southeast Asia during this murky stage when the oil price goes low. Tender results expected in Q2, 2016 and project implementation expected in Q3, 2016.

In addition, PTSC M&C is constantly working to find its opportunities to be involved in the downstream industry by participating in some fabrication packages for RAPID Project (Malaysia) and other domestic downstream projects such as Long Phu 1 Power Plant, Ca Mau Gas Processing Plant.

Facing of the current difficulties, PTSC M&C will continue to strengthen the market development activities, looking for new opportunities and participating for more potential projects in both local and international markets.
