On 29 August 2014, PTSC M&C in coordination with Hoang Long JOC hosted the first cut ceremony of the H5 Topsides and Infield Pipelines at PTSC M&C’s fabrication yard in Vung Tau City, Vietnam.

On 29 August 2014, Su Tu Vang South West (SVSW) Project organized a Topsides Load-out and Sail-away ceremony at PTSC M&C Fabrication yard in Vung Tau, Vietnam, with Mr. Nguyen Quang Hieu, PTSC M&C’s Deputy Director, giving his opening remarks, followed by Mr. Nguyen Van Que, Cuu Long JOC’s General Manager. On the same day, the Project Team also celebrated the milestone of achieving 1,000,000 working man-hours without Lost Time Incident.

On 22nd August 2014, PTSC M&C was proud to host the Load-out and Sail-away ceremony for the two topsides of STN project operated by Cuu Long JOC (CLJOC).

Vung Tau, endowed with beautiful beaches and favorable climate in which cool weather mainly dominates all year round, was considered as an ideal tourism destination for the French and other foreigners from the very first days of the 19th century. After more than 200 years, Vung Tau nowadays has still preserved its beauty and attractiveness to citizens and visitors.

On 20 June 2014, PTSC M&C in coordination with Cuu Long JOC hosted the contract signing ceremony for the Su Tu Vang South West (SVSW) Project. Having attended the ceremony were there representatives from PetroVietnam, PetroVietnam Exploration and Production Corporation (PVEP), PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC), along with themanagement and employees of Cuu Long JOC, PTSC M&C, Vietsovpetro, PTSC Offshore Services, etc.

On 04th July 2014, PTSC M&C was of great honor to welcome The Energy Minister of Brunei – Mr. Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin Bin Haji Umar and The Vietnam Ambassador in Brunei – Mr Nguyen Truong Giang to our ceremony of Maharaja Lela South (MLS) Project, which was awarded to PTSC M&C by Total E&P Borneo B.V. (TEPB) in January 2014.

On 29 May 2014, PTSC M&C was pleased to hold an HSE day for the Su Tu Nau (STN) Project at its fabrication yard in Vung Tau City. On this occasion, the company also announced the major Project milestone of achieving fully 2,500,000 man hours free of LTI.

At its fabrication yard in Vung Tau city, PTSC M&C hosted the load-out and sail away ceremony for the Su Tu Vang South West (SVSW) tripod jacket on 16 may 2014. Attendees to the celebration were representatives from PetroVietnam (PVN), PetroVietnam Exploration and Production Corporation (PVEP), KNOC, Cuu Long JOC along with PTSC M&C’s Board of Directors. More than 100 project involved engineers and workers also turned up at the ceremony.

As part of our annual programs to encourage employees’ interaction with each other outside the office environment, the company sports days was hosted by PTSC M&C in March 2014. The sports days is indeed a fun and effective way to motivate our staffs and strengthen rapport within the company, said the company board of management.
