PTSC M&C DEPLOYS THE IN-HOUSE SOFTWARE FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT

(10/7/2017)

Having recognized the importance of information technology in its business activities, since 2015, PTSC M&C has started to develop many in-house software to better support for the project. Specifically, in 2016, PTSC M&C successfully deployed the “Materials Control Module” as part of PTSC M&C Management System (PMS Software) in execution of engineering, procurement, fabrication and pre-commissioning for Ghana FPSO Modules Project (operated by ENI Ghana Exploration & Production Ltd.). Following this success, PTSC M&C continues to expand the applications of this software to Daman Development Phase 2 Project for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC). PMS software has brought huge benefits for materials control from the time of contract signing to the receipt and release of documents. It can not only calculate precisely the details of coming workfront but also provide good control of surplus materials which, in turn, significantly improve the construction duration and is highly appreciated by clients i.e. Yinson, ONGC.

In 2017, PTSC M&C aims at developing more functions/modules of the software for efficiently managing EPCIC project and applies to its on-going projects, including the Daman Development Phase 2 Project and the CRD TLWP.
