HSE DAY FOR SU TU NAU PROJECT

(29/5/2014)

On 29 May 2014, PTSC M&C was pleased to hold an HSE day for the Su Tu Nau (STN) Project at its fabrication yard in Vung Tau City. On this occasion, the company also announced the major Project milestone of achieving fully 2,500,000 man hours free of LTI.

The STN project was developed under the requirement of Cuu Long JOC and PTSC M&C as a turn-key contractor. All the work including 2 jackets and 2 topsides of 9,500 tons was constructed by PTSC M&C and its subcontractors in PTSC M&C yard in Vung Tau City. Two jackets were completed within only 5.5 months and load out to final destination in September 2013. The topsides have now been in construction process and will be ready for load-out soon this year.

Mr Franck Poli – Deputy General Manager of CL JOC also said in his celebration to this milestone: “STN’s workload is high with the fabrication of 2 topsides executed in parallel and under tight schedule. Hence, the safety, quality and progress achievement so far have proved PTSC M&C’s capabilities, utmost efforts as well as timely support from the Leaders”

At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hieu – Deputy Director of PTSC M&C once again called out for a high awareness and self-control of all staffs involved in STN Project on Safety conduction, especially during the installation in the field. Accordingly, under all circumstances, all HSE regulations must be strictly complied and applied to safeguard the final success of the project.
