Heera Redevelopment Project Running To Target

On 25 November 2013, Heera Redevelopment (HRD) Project team in coordination with PTSC M&C’s Labor Union launched a running-to-target program as part of its efforts to accelerate the HRD progress and to celebrate the Traditional Vietnamese Oil and Gas day (27 November 1961-27 November 2013).

Having attended the event were there Mr. Tran Thien Le, Deputy Director of PTSC M&C; Mr. Bui Van Thuong, Chairman of PTSC M&C’s Labor Union; Mr. Le Ngoc Tam, HRD Project Manager; along with representatives from the PTSC M&C’s Youth Union, ONGC-AFCONS. More than 700 employees working at the construction site also turned up at the ceremony.

On this occasion, Mr. Bui Van Thuong, Chairman of PTSC M&C’s Labor Union announced the HRD-running-to-target-program particularly applied for the fabrication and stacking work of the HRD Main Deck and Top Deck. Mr. Thuong also highlighted that while progressing the project schedule, the execution teams needed to pay highest attention to safety and quality standards. PTSC M&C’s Labor Union was also committed to rewarding those who would excel themselves in successfully delivering the project on time and under the safe-manner.

Heera Redevelopment project was awarded to PTSC M&C by AFCONS, an Indian EPC contractor in Q1/2013. The project work-scope includes procurement of bulk items and fabrication of the Heera Topsides weighing approximately 8,500 tons, and is scheduled for completion in Q4/2014./.
