Engineering

A full-fledged Engineering Office has been set up and located on the 2nd floor at our main Fabrication Yard in Vung Tau City, Vietnam. It is well equipped with a Library of Engineering Codes & Standards and Computer Aided Design/Engineering facilities with a variety of software such as HYSYS, AVEVA PDMS (including MDS, PSI, and PDMS review), SACS 5.3, BOCAD, Tekla Structure, CAESARII, PVElite, CADwork 2009, ETAP, INTOOLS, AutoCAD 2010 etc.

We have more than 200 experienced engineers and designers working across all disciplines from Process, Structural, Piping & Plant Layout, PDMS to Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation. We have also built close working relationships with major Engineering Contractors/Third party specialists in the region to enable critical resources and expertise to be available when required.

Till date, PTSC M&C has executed the Detailed Design work for Hai Su Den platform for Thang Long JOC, Thang Long - Dong Do Well Head platforms & Infield Pipeline for Lam Son JOC and Su Tu Nau and Su Tu Vang South West Well Head platforms for Cuu Long JOC, MLS Well Head platform for Total E&P Borneo B.V, H5 Well Head platform for Hoang Long JOC and many other projects at PTSC M&C Office in Vung tau. Critical engineering activities such as Structural analysis works, HAZID/HAZOP and 3D model review, and safety studies are also being performed and managed. Additionally, Detailed Design activities are also being carried out for Brownfield works for various clients in the country.

Since the Detailed Engineering is being performed at PTSC M&C Office in Vung Tau City, the interface with other critical EPCIC activities such as Procurement can be effectively and timely managed bringing benefits to the project schedule and allows smooth transition from Engineering to Procurement, Construction and Commissioning phases.
